Licensed as a broker since February 2000 and as a sales agent since 1986, Micki Lyons has years of practical experience that bolster her understanding of an ever changing industry. Her background in human resources, coupled with her expertise in relocation services, make her irreplaceable at the Avery-Hess Academy of Real Estate.

At the Academy, Micki teaches all aspects of Principles of Real Estate, Continuing Education classes, and post-license training programs, drawing upon her knowledge both as an agent in the field and as managing broker for Avery-Hess' Lake Ridge office. Her calm demeanor and desire to develop quality agents is reflected in her teaching style.

Not only does Micki serve clients in Northern Virginia and cultivate new agents at the Academy, she also is a past member of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors (NVAR) Million Dollar Sales Club 2001, 2002, and 2003. In addition, she is presently active with the Prince William Association of Realtors and the local area Chamber of Commerce. Throughout her professional growth, Micki has remained dedicated to Avery-Hess, Realtors since joining the company as an agent in 1999. Her practical real estate skills and knack for effective communication are assets to both the company and the Academy.

Married with two grown daughters, Micki is proud of her two grandsons, who keep her on her toes. But, she hasn't traded in for a mini-van yet! In her meager spare time, Micki enjoys letting her hair down for a quick ride around town on her Harley Davidson motorcycle.
