Esther Pryor, CRB
Manager, Tysons Corner Regional Office
Avery-Hess, Realtors

Licensed as a real estate broker since 1988, and a real estate sales associate since 1985, Esther Pryor's vast experience in the industry, combined with her practical skills as a recruiter, trainer and counselor, make her an invaluable resource for those who come to the Avery-Hess Academy of Real Estate. Esther also was designated a real estate brokerage manager in 1996, and serves the Avery-Hess, Realtors Tysons Regional sales office in this regard.

At the Academy, Esther teaches Principles of Real Estate for individuals seeking a real estate license, as well as Continuing Education and specialty courses for those who have obtained a license. Her direct, insightful teaching style helps students increase their knowledge of the real estate industry inside the classroom and apply this knowledge to be an effective agent outside of the classroom.

Aside from teaching at the Academy, Esther bolsters her professional credentials by serving a number of real estate associations. She currently participates in the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors' (NVAR) Arbitration and Professional Standards Committees and serves as a Mediation Officer. In addition, Esther served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for NVAR in 2003. She has also served on the Virginia Association of Realtors (VAR) Insurance Task Force and Board of Directors. Not only has Esther contributed to the industry at a regional level, but also at the national level, as the Director of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) since 2002. Esther's dynamic participation in the NVAR, VAR, and NAR gives her added knowledge of current laws and processes associated with the real estate profession.

Finally, Esther's passion for real estate goes beyond selling homes, teaching classes, and developing the industry through her association work. Her community involvement through Habitat for Humanity-as a builder, Board of Director member, fundraiser, and member of a variety of committees-reveals her unique character and dedication to others. We are proud to have her at the Academy, both for her qualifications and enthusiastic spirit.
